Welcome!

Healing happens when we begin to befriend ourselves. Counselling can be a grounding resource to process difficult thoughts, feelings, and get more familiar with your true self.

Reaching out for support means the healing as already begun!

As your counsellor I join you on your journey as we build trust, explore curiously, and dare to challenge what is holds us back most from living life fully.

By working on healing ourselves, we can heal our communities. The work you will do in therapy is a radical act of self-advocacy in a world that often demands from us productivity and perfectionism.

Hi I'm Maitri! I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I use a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, client-centred, and holistic approach to providing therapy to my clients.

My goal as a counsellor/therapist is to facilitate mindful exploration of your trauma in a safe, collaborative, and open space. Revisiting painful, challenging, and stressful stories can be a complex process. You are not alone! We work at your pace to restore your agency so that you can reclaim the narratives that serve your interpersonal growth and well-being.

Outside of trauma and hurt, you are more than welcome to use our space to better explore who you are.

Let us be curious together!

I wish to express gratitude, and acknowledgment that I currently live, work and play in the ancestral, traditional and unceded territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Tsleil-waututh Nations.

I am committed to decolonizing mental health work both in the counselling space and my personal life.

A fundamental part of my approach seeks to acknowledge the impacts of colonization and understand our relationship with the land.

My practice is dedicated to providing culturally competent and trauma-informed services.
